The International Office of Groove Phi Groove S.F.I. envisioned a collective or collaboration among Groove men and chapters across the globe to make a concerted effort to positively impact their community. It was conceived that by developing young men into positive role models in their communities it would perpetuate productive world leaders. This initiative concluded with what is now the Groove Leadership Academy or GLA.
The organizational effort to feed 100,000 families in 100 days through our partnership and contributions to Feeding America Inc. Through this initiative, we endeavor to feed 1 million families by 2032, of which we have already fed 100,000 in the program's inaugural year.
The organizational effort expands technological opportunities throughout the diaspora through our partnership and contributions to Veronica's Way. Through this initiative, we endeavor to build 100 computer labs to be used by school-aged children by 2032. These labs will serve and support 5,000 to 7,000 children per annual project in perpetuity for a cumulative goal of autonomously serving 50,000 children per year. Once each lab is built, it will serve those children well into the future, as the labs are inside schools and community centers.
The organizational effort seeks to provide clean water to rural towns in Ghana through our partnership with TEAM CSR Ghana (http://teamcsrghana.org/) and with the help of Fl. Earl "The Pearl" Monroe's daughter Maya Monroe. Through this initiative, we endeavor to build 10 water boreholes in Ghana by 2032; each water borehole will provide between 3000-4000 people with an endless supply of clean water.
